Our Services
Instruction & Training
Northwest Paragliding provides a comprehensive Novice (P2) course at Tiger Mountain, focusing on ground handling, glider management, meteorology, and flight maneuvers. The course includes a minimum of 40 supervised flights and offers gear credits towards equipment purchases, making it an ideal starting point for aspiring paragliders.
Tandem Flights
Experience the thrill of paragliding without the learning curve. Our tandem flights are available from April 1st to October 1st for individuals over 16 years old and under 260 pounds. Flights are conducted by certified USHPA tandem pilots at scenic locations like Tiger Mountain, offering breathtaking views and an unforgettable experience.
Advanced Clinics
Ready to take your skills to the next level? Our advanced clinics include thermalling and cross-country (XC) training, designed to bridge the gap between basic certification and confident XC flying. These clinics are held at Tiger Mountain and include ground school, in-air coaching, and specialized training to help you become a more proficient pilot.

Tiger Mountain
A Premier Flying Site
Located in Issaquah, Tiger Mountain is one of the most popular paragliding sites in the United States. It offers consistent thermal flying, majestic views of the Cascade Mountains and Puget Sound, and is suitable for both beginners and advanced pilots.
The site is managed by the Northwest Paragliding Club (NWPC), which maintains the launch areas and ensures pilot safety through regular site maintenance and weather monitoring.
With its proximity to Seattle and reliable flying conditions from spring through fall, Tiger Mountain provides an accessible yet remarkable paragliding experience in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
